A little something of what you like with Deli Muru!
‘Made In Warke’s Deli’ features Deli Muru in our latest blog. Talk about making a big impact on the local food market!
“All labour that uplifts humanity has dignity and importance and should be undertaken with painstaking excellence” Martin Luther King.
And we dare you not to feel uplifted after trying the products from Deli Muru which are available from Warke’s Deli.
Specialising in conserve, chutneys, sweet and savoury biscuits, food hampers and corporate gifts, Deli Muru undertakes everything it does with ‘painstaking excellence’
Finnish for ‘a little something’, Deli Muru has already made a big impact on the local food scene. It has recently bagged one Great Taste award for its Brinjal Pickle and with the passion its founder, Kay Armstrong brings to the business it surely won’t be long before more awards follow.
Deli Muru products can be found in some of the country’s best restaurants and delicatessens therefore it is no surprise that it is a firm favourite at Warke’s Deli in Portstewart.
Warke’s Deli is all about collaborating with great people who go that extra mile to achieve excellence and that is why we feel very excited about working with Kay Armstrong.
Kay is passionate about sourcing great local produce but she sets the bar high when it comes to the quality of ingredients she selects for inclusion in her products.
She works with some of Northern Ireland’s best brands such as Keen Nutrition in Deli Muru’s Almond Butter Biscuits and Barney’s Brew from Hilden Brewery in the excellent Pear, Mango and Ale Chutney. Harnett’s Oils feature in her ingredients and Shortcross Gin – Northern Ireland’s first premium craft gin – can be found in the Orange ‘Spoon’ preserve.
It is through this collaboration and attention to detail when it comes to seeking out excellent ingredients that Deli Muru has generated such a momentum, not to mention a growing band of foodie followers.
At Warke’s Deli we share Kay’s vision of using the best ingredients available to deliver outstanding products. We too undertake with ‘painstaking excellence’ efforts to work with the best local producers to serve products which our customers will find uplifting.
